      Good morning, Guys,

I have ACRX 37 which Jeff Stout did some work on. At the Viper Rendezvous it was great but then the check engine light came on but the car continued to perform flawlessly. Jeff, who was there, did some calling around and determined that the PCM needed updating. The next day the same problem arose on ACRX 32 which was there and is also based in St. Louis. Jeff asked that we send in the PCM’s so he can get the programming updated. My recollection recollection is that in removing and reinstalling a PCM a “throttle relearn” is required. Further, I believe this can only by done at a dealership. Obviously, once I’ve removed the PCM and then reinstalled it, the car won’t run so I would have to remove it while it’s on my trailer as I don’t want to have to push the car up and into the trailer. Am I correct that a relearn would be required and that I’d have to get it to a dealer for that to be done. Any and all advice would be appreciated. My name is Frank Palazzo, FWIW I’m the St. Louis Region President and the other ACRX is owned by one of our Board members. My contact info during the day is 314-227-2064, my cell number is 314-749-3064 and my email address is frank@stlracegear.com
