Does anyone know of an extended warranty plan for vipers that does not require work to be performed by a Dodge dealership or ASE (BS) certified technician?I have never heard of an extended service plan that allows you to take it to a non- ASE/BS certified technician.
It sounds like you’re wanting a race shop to do your warranty work?

They’ll make you use an ASE tech.

Exactly. I got tired of checking each one, hence this thread.I have never heard of a extended service contract company that allows work to be paid for under their warranty without having a certified tech perform the work. Why would you want this anyways?

Gotcha.
Unfortunately, you won’t find a warranty company that pays an individual warranty funds without being certified.
Yes, he’s a GREAT Viper tech, but the warranty companies don’t know him from Joe Blow. Stuff you have done through him will be 100% out of pocket.

Thanks for that, as unfortunate as the situation might be. I feared it was the case. I just won’t let another soul touch the car, so I guess in my case I’ll need to bite the bullet and “self extended guarantee”.
