Woot! I’m still working out what spring rates to run front and rear for a stock power car with ACRE Aero. I have heard so many different opinions but I want to hear from the people that actually track their cars and have played with different rates.

Can you elaborate what rates you recommend and why/how they compare to other rates?

Also any tips on alignment setups for slicks? I’m running Hoosier A7s.

      Hello Pmak
This question is a little more advanced for our beginner TKO6T discussion like we are planning for this friday. Lets see what we can do right now to help answer your questions.

There are so many variables when it comes to setting up shocks, springs, aero and suspension. When you have a sh-t ton of variables there is always going to be more then one way to do it and get results.
Here is what we run on a few street/track ACR-E vipers. Most all the customers vipers we setup also have just about every part we mfg on it and cars are balanced so they all have a good foundation for setup efficiency. This doesnt mean the info Im giving you doesnt apply we just have to adjust a bit for your specific setup.

      1. TKO dbl adjust race shocks w/ARHC system all for corners
      2. 600-700 LB TKO front springs
      3. 1300-1400lb TKO rear springs
      4. TKO progressive bump rubbers all around with packers in rear at some tracks

      SETUP

      Frt
caster 7deg Basically max out if your running any bushed factory control arm
Camber 2.5-2.7 anything more you get excessive tire wear. You can run 3+ and car is fast for 2-5 laps and then falls of like stone
      Toe out .062-.125

      Rear
caster as close to zero as possible
      Camber 2.5-2.7
      toe in .062-.125

      Rake .250-.500″

      Ride height
