Hello Vipersupra
10-16 KG up grade sounds like a tender spring or a very light helper spring deal they have going on ????.
There are quite a few spring combos you can run. If your looking for ride comfort since it just a weekend car 500-600lb ( 226-272kg) frt and 900-1000lb ( 400-450kg) rear. They may also have a progressive spring option. Dont suggest running progressive springs on any performance car. If you can always use linear springs. Not sure what an ” optional extender” is

although i have a gen 4 i went with the swift springs upgrade and 10/12kg rates. my car will likely never see the track and only used for street driving and canyon carving. i didn’t see a need for the extender as that is used for the adjustable dampening setting on the top of the coilover

except for the ACR (which has loads of downforce) those spring rates are much higher than the stock Viper rates. I think the TA was more like 245lb front and 600lb rear

I have (had) 12kg/mm front and 14kg/mm rear, BC racing with Swift.
Pretty decent comfort, good compromise sportyness/street comfort.
Decided to upgrade to more serious stuff, Penske double with 750lb/950lbs Hyperco springs but at the (probable) cost of some lost in comfort…

Had a couple of questions about the spring rate options
I am looking to buy bc coilovers with the swift spring upgrade. They have a 10,12,14,16 kg option to choose from. I don’t plan on tracking the car, it’s just a weekend vehicle. What would be the ideal spring rate for me, front and rear?
What is their “optional extender” option?
I searched around but didn’t see anything specific to the gen v on spring rates for my situation if the gen even matters.
