      Resource for servicing on the radio head unit is United Radio in East Syracuse, NY. I just sent the unit from my 92 in for service to have the cassette deck belts/bands replaced and an internal pre-amplifier issue diagnosed and fixed. contact@unitedradio.com or automotive@unitedradio.com.       After seeing this post, I contacted United Radio.  I sent my 1996 Dodge Indianapolis Ram Infinity radio to them to repair the volume control.  They had it just over a week and returned the radio to me.  United Radio also replaced my cassette band.  It works like new now.
