Question: My ’94 RT has been parked since July. On Sunday, ‘suddenly,’ the clutch engaged TOO low. The clutch fluid reservoir is full. The fluid was changed a couple summers ago, but it dark now.
Has anyone experienced a similar malady?

      Answer by Chuck Tator:
A couple of things to check: Look for a puddle of fluid under the bell housing or a drip hanging off the bell housing. If you see fluid there, the clutch slave cylinder is leaking and it will need to be replaced. Transmission needs to come out to replace the slave cylinder and at the same time I would replace the clutch master cylinder. If it is original, it’s 26 years old. While the trans is out, check your clutch for ware and lube the pilot bearing.

      Hope this helps?
