Question:
I just bought my 95 Viper. The car is completely stock with 23k original miles. I’d like to replace the exhaust system from engine to side pipes.I live in Florida, so I can eliminate the Cats (no inspection) I’d like recommendations on the best way to go in terms of performance, sound and heat reduction. I plan on doing the job myself, unless talked out of it otherwise.
Will I need to make any engine or sensor changes if I go this way?
Answer by Alex Macevicius:
We can’t recommend removing a federal emissions component. Roe Racing makes a great set of replacement side pipes and mufflers for the RT/10’s. You’ll be able to feel a little performance increase from just exhaust, but your biggest gain will be the sound!
