      Congrats on jumping in!

Hard to tell from just two pics, but certainly the hood is the most expensive piece of a Gen 2 to buy.

Several great resources within the VOA – I might start with Jon B at Parts Rack (just not on a Monday lol)

Saw this one on eBay, had thoughts of buying and fixing as well… Interested to see how it turns out for you, and if the cost comes in significantly lower than buying a clean title car.

So you need to repair things, are you a USA Resident or do you live in Europe? Reason I ask is parts are far easier to get in the USA than in Europe, also paint products, resins and fillers are branded different.

I have rebuilt the front end of my car recently, there are also threads on here about fascia alignment.

So just how much damage is there? and what kind of skills / experience do you have in repair work?

Look forward to hearing updates and keep a photographic record of every nut/bolt,shim you remove so you know exactly where everything was positioned prior to you removing a part. 🙂

This was a great restoration thread, sadly its lacking any updates.

For information, the front nose is polyurethane, it can be filled and sanded using the correct flexible fillers. if its torn anywhere it can also be welded.

Here is an awesome Video showing you the technique required, I have contacted Polyvance and they are very, very helpful.
You can find their Airless welder kit online

I just bought a 01 Gen 2. Salvaged Title and wanted to get some advise about what i should do with the car. I have always wanted a Viper and have owned many European super cars in the past.

I was wondering if you guys recommend repairing or buying replacement parts on this car?

      Thanks
