Mine was done two weeks ago, and it only took the tech 1.5 hours. He said it wasn’t too bad, and not nearly as traumatic as those instructions make it out to be. I too was nervous when I took it in. You can’t even tell that anything was taken apart.
As long as your dealer has a competent tech, you’re fine!
