Pirelli P-Zero’s for me, either through the VOA which I believe that deal is expiring after NVE2 next week, or through JonB where I got mine. Since your in the UK, I don’t know what options you have, but if you can get those for a good price I would jump on it. I would think they should be good if they’ve been properly stored.

I believe around the 4-5 year mark, performance tires should be replaced anyways because they’ve hardened by that point. Could be wrong, but I remember reading that on this forum somewhere as well as others.

Granted, I live in Arizona where it is dry out but I have a policy for all cars, not just the Viper, that tires are done at 4 years. Maybe 5 in a pinch but that is it. Regardless of miles. I wouldn’t push Viper tires past 4 years. In storage away from UV light in the UK where it is more humid, maybe you can get longer. Ask an expert out there. But as a rule I would consider 4 years to be about replacing time, not purchasing time.

I don’t know if the Pirelli deal is available in the UK or not. But I have been very happy with my Michelin PSS. Some others in the club here have also been happy with the PSS as well. I recommend them. Haven’t run pirellis yet but will probably try them soon.

I just replaced my tyres with Michelin PS2’s in the UK, got them for a good price (rear £187) but they have a 2013 date. Much better than the 2004 dated tyres which the previous owner put on the car!!!
