      I concur. But isn’t it’s weight keeping it from running faster times around the ring? Per the OPs statement.

      Its insane that the Vette is heavier than the Viper, I wouldve bet the opposite.

      The ZL1 is a beast. I test drove it for 2 hrs the other day, blew my mind. The 10speed auto felt more like a double clutch transmission.

      The Viper’s in a different league though.

      Isn’t the ZL1 the Camaro? Perhaps I am mistaken. I thought the ZR1 was the vette designation, ZL1 for the Camaro. Correct me if I’m wrong.

      That’s what I thought. So while high in power I’m sure it’s weight limits it around the ring. It’s still no slouch considering it could easily be a daily driver. And ring times are largely academic in that very few drivers (non professionals) can achieve those no matter what they are in. I’m sure as a daily driver it would be a lot of fun.

      Didn’t even know the 10-sp auto was available. U test drove and didn’t take any pics?

      Chevy had a nurburgring run with this car and still fell behind the gen iv ACR and at that time the track was longer, imagine if we could get a gen v ACR out there.
