April 6th – Carolinas VOA Zone Luncheons (rescheduled)
Blow the dust off your Vipers! To start our action packed year, we are hosting several FREE luncheons throughout our region! Some of the luncheons may be coordinated with local Cars & Coffee Events. You will be receiving an e-mail soon with locations and additional details!

May 3rd-5th – “Get Your Motor Running V6.0” – Wake Forest, NC (rescheduled)
Join us for our 6th annual Carolinas VOA maintenance day! Once again, the event will be hosted at my home. We will have access to two lifts, the necessary tools/equipment and expertise to help you change your oil, diff, tranny, and clutch fluid. Capital Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM will supply the necessary filters, fluids (except oil) to get the job done!

May 30th – June 2nd – Tail of the Dragon – Gatlinburg, TN (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/)
For the 5th year in a row, our region is co-hosting the Tail of the Dragon event along with our good friends from Alabama / Tennessee! We had over 50 Vipers in attendance last year, so this is an event you don’t want to miss! The Tail of the Dragon is considered one of the world’s foremost motorcycling and sports car roads. Anyone looking for an exciting drive will enjoy this stretch of US129 with 318 curves in 11 miles! We’ll also enjoy the attractions of Gatlinburg, lunches, dinners, nightlife, and endless FUN! This will be an EXTRA LONG weekend event so please mark your calendars and arrange time off if you plan to attend! Due to the popularity of this event, registration will be opening soon!

July 21st – Viper Track Event at Rockingham Speedway
We will host our track event at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, NC from 11:00am-3:00pm! This will be a great opportunity to stretch the legs of your Viper. We have reserved the drag strip and will also have an auto cross slalom course. Best of all, this will be a FREE event to all Carolina VOA members. We will also have an early dinner following the track activities (member paid).

August 16th-18th – Vipers Invade Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, SC
This event has become a staple in our events list every year! We’ll enjoy on the sandy beaches of South Carolina and dine at some great restaurants. As usual, discounted group hotel accommodations will be available Friday, Saturday, and on into the week if you plan to stay a couple extra days.

September 14th – 15th – Viper Winery Tour
On Saturday, September 14th we’ll slither to the Shelton Vineyards in Dobson, NC. Shelton Vineyards is approximately a 2 hour ride from the Triangle and 1.5 hours from Charlotte. Our day will begin with a tour of the winery at noon which concludes with a private tasting of their Reserve wines paired with a cheese board in the Barrel Cave. Each attendee will also receive a crystal Riedel Wine Glass as a souvenir. After the tasting we enjoy the beautiful grounds of the vineyard. We will then conclude the relaxing day with dinner at the Harvest Grill which is onsite. After dinner you may head home or make it a weekend getaway and stay at the Hampton Inn located at the edge of the vineyard.

October 11th – 13th – Vipers slither to Biltmore – Asheville, NC (http://www.biltmore.com/)
The weather put a damper on this trip last year so we have rescheduled! Hurricanes stay away! Biltmore is the largest privately owned home in the United States with over 178,000 square feet and 250 rooms! We’ll attend a group visit to the home, gardens, have lunch at the on-site Deer Park Restaurant, explore Antler Hill Villiage and Winery, and we’ve obtained permission to have a professional group photo taken in front of the hotel with our Vipers! Mark your calendar now as this will be an exciting 2-3 day event you won’t want to miss. Discounted group hotel accommodations will be available for Friday and Saturday night.

November 9th – Carolinas VOA Annual Holiday Party
