We removed that functionality as the majority of the credit cards expired causing a lot of extra work to track folks down to get updated cards. Most people will not return a phone call from someone asking for a credit card and many ignore follow up emails. It is an annoyance from the member’s view point but it wreaks havoc on our book keeping and time spent trying to follow up which equates to cost since Bridgett’s time used for club business is billed to us.

If anyone is upset please extend my sincere apologies since i forgot to mention the change in the renewal email which contained a click through to the individual’s account information to renew and request credit card information.

Even though I sent an email to the handful that hadn’t renewed yet, just call two who still thought their “auto renewal” was going to happen.

So, it just may take getting on the old phone and having a conversation 🙂
