Yikes!! Sounds like a nightmare. This is why dealers have a bad reputation.

As most of us know, CJ Left Meadowlands and it was a huge hit to the Viper Community to have a knowledgeable Gen V and prior Tech. After his leaving the Service Department assured some of us that another Tech although not a “Viper/Gen V Tech” was also capable of working on our vehicles. Unfortunately after last night I finally won my Small Claims against them for damages on my 2015 viper they covered up and/or refused to pay for.
In Early September I dropped my vehicle off for service/warranty work regarding my Gen V Windows rattling while driving, Dealer diagnoses as Window regulators and orders parts and replaces them. After two weeks I was notified that they could not calibrate the drivers window and believe the door module needs to be replaced. As I needed the vehicle for an event I picked it up and discovered that the driver window had a deep scratch in it and notified service immediately and was told they’ll fix or replace the window when it comes back.
After a few weeks go by we still don’t have the modules but I went by a Body shop I use and when I mentioned my Vipers problem they discovered the window was not seated correctly and once fixed the window performs fine. Both flag seals though were mashed up from the windows due to the dealers install though and thankfully we were able to form the rubber to accept the windows again as they slid through. We also noticed that the driver trim behind the handle was missing. We removed the tint as well and discovered it was just the tint that as scratched, not the window thankfully.
I notified the dealer that we fixed the window issue, and that the tint was scratched so all they need to do is retint the window and put the trim back on the door and they said no problem. A few weeks later went by and they notified me the modules were in and when I mentioned I didn’t need them they said “No problem, drop it by”. When I dropped it off they stated Mahopac Tint would be doing the work for the tint.
Another week went by and they said the vehicle is ready, come pick it up. When I picked it up, the tint wasn’t installed but they handed me a receipt for two new door modules under warranty I didn’t need. When I asked about the tint said “They would rather me get it done so just bring the receipt for reimbursement”. Upon entering the car I noticed white residue on certain trim pieces. Dropping it off to my body shop for tint they discovered that the dealer glued trim back to my drivers door which explained the white residue on some of the trim exterior.
Upon visiting the dealer with the tint receipt and the damaged parts to show them, they rejected to reimburse me saying they aren’t responsible for any 3rd party accessories like tint and deny damaging any trim pieces on the car even with service receipts notating the acknowledged damage.
During this they also performed work on my 2018 Durango SRT and had to take off my rear driver door, when reassembling they left clips and push pins that rattled in the door while driving around which required me myself to remove the door panel and discover broken clips and push pins.
After last night I successfully won my Claim against them for damages and strongly recommend to steer away from whatever is left of the Meadowland of Carmel Service Department. I have now established a great relationship with Scotty and Bedford Jeep.
