A new “British Invasion”?
At the NARRA US GT Championship Whelen Grand Prix of Georgia ….. the 2014 British made Chevron GT3 is set to debut at Road Atlanta, April 11-14th.
The British marque 2014 spec Chevron GT3 propelled by a 585bhp V8 (A more powerful LS7 version of the Chevron with 685bhp with another 100 ft lbs of torque is also in the works, should the LS3 prove inadequate), is set to return to North American sports-car racing this weekend in NARRA’s US GT Championship during the Whelen Grand Prix of Georgia at Road Atlanta; where, driven by driver Harry Blazer, it will compete against US GT class cars such as the Vette and Viper. In fact, it is being touted by driver Harry Blazer, as the “Viper Killer”.
You gotta love owning a car (Viper) that other builders actually manufacture a car around for the sole purpose of trying to defeat. Notice, it ain’t referred to as a “Vette Killer”. Gotta love it.
