Kind of fishing here, and I see the forums are pretty dead these days, but you never know until you ask.
I am highly irate at Chrysler/Stellantis/Dodge, or whatever you want to call them these days, about their treatment of Viper owners and warranty commitments. Specifically, my 2017 ACR-E is still under warranty as I bought an 8 year MaxCare from Clay back when I bought the car new in 2017. I recently had it into the dealer for an inoperative drivers side exterior door handle. Long story short (5 month stay at dealership), they replaced the BCM and have subsequently diagnosed problem as the door switch at the handle itself. That switch was made only available as part of a new door handle assembly, which is unavailable and discontinued, and is also conveniently classified as a non-warranty part. MaxCare warranty explicitly covers “All Wiring Harnesses,…Manually Operated Switches, Body Computer, Body Control Module, …Power Door Locks and Linkage”. Efforts for resolution with corporate led to a quick dead-end.
So my question is; Anybody else out there as frustrated as I am with how Viper warranty obligations are being handled? As for me, I guess my next step is to visit with a litigator as there was zero give-a-damn at the corporate warranty help organization.
