Congrats and welcome, love the color.

Thank you guys. Believe me I know the power behind this and have already spent some time getting to know cornering, acceleration and braking to ensure I do not get the ass end out of control, spin out, etc. Thank you for the advice, I am sure more than a few have had tragic tales not being cautions before knowing their Viper.
I do have a question for the community though. I can see nothing at all wrong but, when pulling into a tight corner I do hear what sounds like “rubbing” possibly not the right sound. Is that a normal sound for a 2001 Viper? If I am remembering correctly, I only hear it at lower speeds.

Beautiful car. The ones with stripes are said to be faster.:z:

No that is not my 599 in the background. It did sell the same time as my Viper and was in just the same immaculate condition. These are pictures from the seller, I will take more of my own after my 2002 Prowler is done having the chrome front suspension installed and the new rims and tires.

Congrats on the car.

Congrats on the purchase! Love the color and stripe combo. The Gen II’s are getting more attention lately with their resemblance to the Gen V. Enjoy the ride!

Greetings! My name is Killian, nice to meet you all. This last Wednesday, Tom Clark at Motorcar Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, introduced me to this beauty. 2001 Viper GTS with $8,000 miles, immaculate and pristine, even the undercarriage was spotless. I consider myself very lucky to add this amazing car to my family. I look forward to chatting with you all and getting to know more about this amazing car.
