      Yeah easy fix, I think the factory weather stripping is a tad too long on that one side and it gets pinched when the hood is closed. Trim about a 1/4 inch off of it and it will close much better.

      Also the 3M automotive grade double sided tape is wider than what the factory used so it will adhere better. I just went in there and removed any old adheasive cut the new tape and re applied the weather stripping.

      Ok about to drop some really complex, cutting edge, hard hitting tech discussion here. 😀

      I noticed my TA, with 1,600 miles on it, started losing it’s drivers side head light weather stripping. Silly easy fix and I would rather use a better 3M tape than the factory replacement would use so I redid it yesterday. Rotated the photos in photobucket so if theyre upside down give them a few minutes.
