Each registration is essentially buying 100min of track time (Five 20 min sessions). He’d need at least one of those for each car. I’m not sure if they are allowing guests to drive and what that cost would be. Are those guests experienced? Eric, being an ex X racer I would think would want to be in the faster run group. If he’s splitting with someone that would go in a different group then things get complicated.

Good question Andy. This may help many others out there as well.

Yes we are wanting to keep it VOA. Cut off date is 11/10/2014. You are correct, if he is a VOA member he can register using his own VOA member number, if his fiance also wants to drive she too can register under his VOA member number. This will increase attendance some, using a VOA member number for the household/family. You are correct again on guest fee. It includes everything except the ability to drive on track, they can drive on the cruises in the Hill Country, have Saturday dinner included, and get a shirt- just no track time.

Two drivers would be two drivers fees although he and his fiance may share the same VOA number being they are family.

No guest will be able to get behind the wheel while at COTA. Although any member may bring as many guests as they like, so if you have 10 kids, bring em all for under $1000!

As far as bringing an ACR, hell yeah- go for it. I want to see how the TA vs the ACR do out on the track!

For insurance reasons we will not be issued lap timers but you may bring your own lap timer without any issues.

Hey Guys, not sure if this belongs in here or not but thought you guys could help.

We have a new local member, Eric Galerne (Raced X's in Viper Cup) who is bring his two street driven ACR's to COTA for our event. He actually joined the Houston VOA just because of this event.

These are the fundamentals of his question:

      1 VOA Member
      2 ACR's
4 Guests wanting to drive (number includes Eric)

My first thought was that you have to be a VOA member to register and only one of them is. I was thinking that hsi Fiance whom I work with could also pay and register with the Houston VOA in one of his two Vipers. That gets them to two members that could each bring a guest to COTA. I know we are charging $95 for a guest but I am thinking that's a non driving guest correct?

Anyways he's asking me what the most economical way of doing this is so they can correctly pay what needs to be paid and what not.

      Thanks!
