Myrtle Beach VOA/Mopar week agenda:

Thursday 9/23
Check into Avista hotel. Meet in parking garage by 5:45 to cruise to Bouys on the boulevard for a 6pm dinner reservation (your expense). You can also choose to walk there. Less than a 10 minute walk. There we will also have a surprise for everyone.

Friday 9/24
Meet in parking garage by 9:45am to cruise to the starting location of Mopar weeks charity poker run at Hard Rock Cafe (Entry fees for poker run are already included). Check in starts at 9:30am, drivers meeting at 10:45 and depart at 11am. Stop for a quick lunch at the place of your choosing during the run if you like. Arrive at last stop at Calli Bakers Firehouse about 4/5pm. The run will have 3 stops, Bucksport marina and La Belle Amie, where at each you will collect a poker chip with a number on it. At the last stop the mopar week participants with the lowest total and the person with the highest will win prizes. Immediately after we are all to meet at The pirates voyage dinner theater by 5:30pm only 5 minutes from the last stop. BE THERE BY 5:30pm. Show starts at 6pm and everyone must be in their seats before then. (Show and meals are included)

Saturday 9/25
Mopar week charity car show where there will be several viper classes. (Entry into car show is included) Show opens and registration starts at 7am. Registration ends at noon, judging begins at 11am and awards at 4pm. Those who prefer to get to the car show early can go when they like. Otherwise we will meet in the garage by 9:45 and arrive at Hard Rock about 10am. The car show is at Broadway at the beach so if you aren’t wanting to stand by your car all day, there is plenty to do. RiderMakerz will have rc viper body’s in stock for us for those who would like to make one (approx $50 we will have discount coupons as well). You are on your own for lunch and there are plenty of places to choose from. After awards head back to hotel to freshen up. Meet in garage by 6pm to cruise over to the go karts (cost included). After go karts the evening is open to choose where you like for Dinner, beach or night life.

Sunday 9/26
Check out of the hotel and meet in garage at 10am and cruise over to Wheels Of Yesteryear for mopar week cruise in from 10am-2pm. While there you can enjoy a tour of the classic car museum (separate discounted fee). After that head on home or stay and enjoy Myrtle Beach. Looking for something to do then get with Angel, Jason or Matt and we can help recommend stuff for you.

There are other mopar week activities happening during the evenings and a mopar week track event that Wednesday. Please visit their site for more details on that.

We are joining the MOPAR Bash at the Beach for a fun-filled event and a chance to show-off our Vipers. This is our region’s big event. 4 days and 3 nights!!
Event registration is open until August 24th. Fee $100 per person Carolinas Region VOA (or $130 for other VOA regions) and includes registration/entry for car show, registration for charity drive, entry for karting, and Friday night dinner.

Event Overview
Thursday Sept 23rd
Arrival and check-in. Reserved parking in the parking deck across from the hotel.
Dinner at Buoys at the Beach. Short walk from the hotel.

Friday Sept 24th
Choice of joining the Charity Drive/Poker Run (included in registration) or relaxing at the beach or pool.
Dinner at Pirates included in registration

Saturday Sept 25th
MOPAR Bash at the Beach Car Show (included in registration)
Dinner for group at TBD paid on your own
Karting at The Track for those that still have some energy left

Sunday Sept 26th
Hotel checkout (unless you opted to stay longer)
Cruise-in and tour of Wheels of Yesteryear
Depart for home
