Original Mopar fluid and don’t forget the additive that goes in there too.

I did some research on this as well. Just use the Dodge factory stuff. Oh and, like Speedtactics said, do not forget the limited slip additive for the rear!

I have a Gen III Viper upgraded to a Gen IV hydrolock differrential. Do I use the same oil in the Gen IV differential as I would in the Gen III? Also, what is the best fluid to use on it and the transmission. Thanks!

Just for clarification purposes, the Hydrolock was an 03-06 item. Gen 4 Cars 08-10 used Viscolok.

This http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004D4URV6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s02 matches factory specs (GL-4) for the Gen 3 transmission fluid.
