my gen 1v viper 1st gear I liked due to you could just let off the clutch and go, gen v cant stand due to you have to give it gas and feather to get going

One of the issue with the G5 on the drag strip is the super high (numerically low) 1st gear. That creates a problem in that the car will either bog or spin 80% of the time.

In other words it needs an improvement in the overall 1st gear ratio. The 19″ Nitto is 27.5″? tall. A better choice could be the 335×18 Hoosier, it measure 25.7″ tall.The 18″ oem wheels will fit on the G5 with 1″ spacers.

Since I installed a 2010 trans, I no longer need the Hoosiers. If anyone wants them, I will take 50% of the Summit online price
