      Nothing at the moment, but in September this year I am doing a hill climb in the viper and they are going to film the run with a Drone 🙂

      Ahhh, exactly what I’m talking about. Very nice! Just as I was sitting there thinking “It would look slick if a Viper came blowing by”… Very cool.

      I bet if you put an ISIS flag on top of your car, you’ll get lots of drone attention 🙂 Might end up without a car, though…

      Yeah the bummer was the timing was off. The guy with the drone was short on batteries and it took us longer to get to the bridge than expected. That Viper cameo would have been better with the 20 or so Vipers we had with us.

      I’ve had drones for years (mainly due to photography) but recently got the Mavic – finally can actually bring this thing along on trips as it folds up. The 4K video is actually astounding, the quality is great. The pics leave a little to be desires, only 12mp and no optical zoom. Started playing with the follow modes on this model, works fairly well. It tracks vehicles and people pretty good at almost any altitude. Haven’t made any yet in the Viper, but took it ATVing with us when we were out in the desert exploring – good moving footage (and caught wildlife I couldn’t normally get this close to). A couple quick links below:

      Lake Pleasant Trails
      Boulders OHV Trails

      Aside from cool footage in general, does anyone have any slick Viper footage or pics from a drones perspective? Clubs have to begin having some neat uses for drones! We may have some nice pics we could use in the mag, or videos to share on the forums. It’s a whole-nother world!

      If you have any good videos or pics from the air that are Viper related. Post them here or share them with the club.
