I use the Pittsburgh 1.5 ton racing floor jack from harbor freight. Fits in the gen 4 trunk no problem. Fairly light at around 30#.

The jack you’ve linked says minimum height is 4.3 inches. That would not fit under the front of my car. And I’m not too keen on electric. I wonder how many amps it needs to lift the car? And how long will it last?

Good point about the minimum height, I missed that somehow. It would not fit under my ACR either.

Can you confirm that you have no issues jacking up your ACR with the Harbor Freight jack? The base seems pretty short.

I have no issue jacking my car with the HF jack. It is my go to jack at home and at the track. I can jack up from the jack pad and put a jack stand under the frame no problem. My jack stands are 11.5in. Spec says 14 inch lift. Sounds about right.

I am considering buying this to take to the track with me: http://www.autozone.com/engine-and-vehicle-lift/jack/pilot-automotive-4000-lbs-electric-car-jack/385772_0_0/#tab-reviews

I am planning to also get a couple of jack stands. Idea is to use this setup for adjusting ride height and installing/removing front splitter extension and rear diffuser strakes.

Reviews on Amazon are mostly positive and the jack is very low profile, which should work well for the ACR.

I considered getting a low-profile floor jack, but I dont think its going to fit in the trunk and it’s too big and heavy.

      What do you guys think?
