Seems like you answered your own question. You’re either going to have to plumb in the O2 sensors and space them off, and get lucky between CELs, or find a place that can get you taken care of. Honestly the dealer has always done my inspections with or without check engine lights in the past.

I’m doing the Mopar ECU at my dealer in the morning, and I think you can swap Ecus at any time for whatever needs. FYI my headers have been on now for probably 20 key cycles and 150 miles and I’m not throwing a CEL. M&M headers

In Arizona, only certain counties require emission test, but in Arizona if you swapped ECU and went right there to test it would be inelligible for testing. It needs a certain amount of cycles. And it is impossible to get “taken care of” as the emissions places are state run and it’s all computer controlled. They put in your vin and your plate and then a test must be performed and the person has no control over the results.

Ugh, it sounds like I am describing california. What happened to my home state?

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help Rocket. Gorgeous car and it was great to meet you. Maybe Gaboon will let you register the car at his place in Sedona.

Thanks in advance for the help. Just moved to AZ from Iowa and am loving EVERY MINUTE!!!

But, need help to pass emissions:

I have Hennessey Headers, Single Cat, Intake/Head Work, and MOPAR PCM on my 2009 Viper, and I DO NOT have the original PCM.

AZ plugs into the OBD to check for error messages, etc. With the MOPAR PCM – the OBD reads not ready – which is a function of the mopar PCM.

I may have a tech that can help me with a stock PCM – but my downstream O2 sensors are non-functional and only zip tied along side of the trans. I don’t recall seeing a place that the downstream sensors could even screw into???

Only thought would be to swap out pcm for stock pcm and add O2 simulators???

      Thoughts, suggestions??

      Thanks!

      Rocket
