I will pick up the 2001 GTS tomorrow. I purchased it last week from Premier Sport Cars, Springfield, MO. I have wanted a Sapphire/Cognac for and found the right one with 12K and owned by "a little old lady". What more could you want? I highly recommend them for any sports car you might be looking for. I have been a Mopar guy for over 55 years. The GTS will be parked next to a fully restored '67 Plymouth Satellite Sport Special with considerably more HP than the Viper. The wife doesn't think I need both. If so, I know which will go out the door. I have wanted a Viper for too long to give it up. I will be needing quite a bit of advise on maintaining the Viper. I tend to do the work myself, but at my age that is getting more difficult.Question: Is it true that every Dodge Dealership has a mechanic that has been "trained" on servicing a Viper?
Congrats on your purchase! I purchased my first viper from premier Sportscars as well. A 2001 Sapphire RT/10! That was almost 12 years ago but still. 🙂
Answer: AT one time lost of dealerships has a “Viper Tech” on hand. Not so much now a days. There is a lot of knowledge on the boards here and everyone it willing to help. I have gotten into doing a lot of the maintenance on my car recently. Most things are pretty easy. If you have any questions just ask!
