Following up on a question from the board call last night relative to the counter at the very bottom of the forum screen. (Unfortunately) I was correct is that the “active members” counter at the bottom of the screen was not an indication of actual club members. It is a very odd counter. What it indicates is the number of registered forum users who posted recently. We can’t change that tag or add any words to clarify it. I can remove it, so that’s what we did. To clarify the terms at the bottom of the screen:

Active users: the total number of registered and unregistered forum users physically viewing forums at that time.
Members: the total number of registered forum users
Active members: the number of registered members who have posted (in a period of 2 weeks) (removed)

Hope that explains it! It’s indeed not intuitive. We did also add a member counter to the homepage of our website when we started the club wbich measures actual club members as well.

As I mentioned on the call – for a reminder. Club membership and forum membership are 2 different things (however we are able to link them so that club members are visible when they use the forum). If you have members who do not have a “voa member” tag on their forum account, it’s because their accounts haven’t linked because their email addresses differ on the two accounts. They can change this themselves or they can simply contact our HQ.

      Hope that helps!
