What’s the price on that setup? I’m not real familiar with the company. Looking at the pics there isn’t much in the way of ventilation holes along the radial edge.

There was a company at SEMA trying to get into the aftermarket ceramic brake sets. fusionbrakes.com was the company. They are pretty much what I’d call a start up, nothing available at the show as they are trying to make a launch this year. They had Porsche and Vette brake systems starting around $10k and going to $20k. IIRC, you cannot just use the ceramic rotor, you had to use the corresponding caliper with it.

Those were made by a local company, Nth Moto, not sure on the price.

I’m doing a little investigating and considering pursuing carbon ceramic brakes on my Viper. I’m looking at the same rotor as the ZR1 vette. 15.5″ fronts, 15″ rears with the 6 piston/4 piston brembo caliper setup. At least 1 company out there has stated that CCM-R brakes would be around $30k for a set of 4 which for most of us is out of the question. My preliminary investigations have shown that a complete setup will be about $7k plus the cost of new hats and mounting brackets with the Viper 6-lug bolt pattern. I’ll be investigating the cost of replacement hat manufacturing and caliper bracket here soon. Would anyone be interested in something like this? I’m not a vendor but just curious if anyone else wants carbon ceramics on their car. I’m not sure if they would fit with the 18/19 setup. I’ll investigate that as well.
