The readings at the exhaust area were not done at the tailpipe, but rather an inch or so above the top of the tailpipe. Tom Sessions said I did not need the exhaust wrap, but since I already purchased it and didn’t want the hassle of returning I used it.
Took about 2 1/2 hours, but the sound alone (as I never burned myself) was worth the trouble.
