The black anodizing is a nice touch…looks OEM.

Can you explain the advantages of going with an underdrive pulley?

The underdrive pulley is smaller in diameter than the stock pulley therefore it drives the alternator , powersteering, and water pump slower. This in turn gives you less horsepower loss.

I’ve heard from others that have done before and after dyno pulls that is is worth 8-10rwhp. That is just hearsay, I wasn’t there and it wasn’t my car. I’ve been interested in doing this as well for some time. Just haven’t gotten around to it.

If you have a torque wrench this is an easy install. Can’t speak for the dyno gains but there are a few posts on here that do.

Nothing revolutionary here, but I finally got around to installing my underdrive pulley. This one was from JonB and I had it black anodized. The hardest part was fitting the torque wrench into the tight space. Drives great, no issues, I have the Mopar ECU. On my scale this saved 0.75 lbs of rotating mass and I’m sure it gains a few HP at the wheels.
