Stock is pretty durable. PartsRack has OE clutch-PP kit in stock at $375 + $195 slave, and includes the quick-disconnect tool.We have performance models rated at 900+ TQ starting at $549 +

I bought a new slave and twin disk clutch (900 torque) from JonB last year that came with a indexed aluminum flywheel (chromoly face). It knocked 20 pounds of rotating mass off the stocker. It has never gotten rid of all of the chatter out of first gear, but if you don’t drive it like a grandma there is none. I have beat on it pretty damn good over the last year at multiple race events and it is still good as new. If you want the clutch engaged, it is going to engage. Very happy with it, but it does not drive like the stocker around town.

Thanks guys for the info. Any idea what the labor time usually is for this kind of replacement? I contacted a shop out here (Chicagoland) and was told about $1,500 for OEM replacement on the clutch and slave cylinder, including the flush and replacement for fluids and labor. Sound about a fair price?

That is getting bent over for simply an install. Local shop here, Vorshlag, did my full install on the twin disk and new flywheel for $625 out the door. I supplied all parts and specified the clutch fluid.

If they are buying the parts, then it is a little high, but no outrageous. In the example above, $625 for labor, $595 plus shipping for the clutch, probably $1250-$1275 total. Figure 3 maybe 4 hours for the replacement.

      Hey guys,

Wondering what the going cost is for replacing the clutch and slave cylinder on a Gen4. If looking to replace the clutch, is stock the best route, or are there other similarly priced options that would be better?
