      Hello Carolina’s Viper Club Members,

The weather for Saturday is looking very soggy, several have already
canceled, and my yard where we stage the cars is going to be very soft
with all of the rain we’ve had recently. Therefore, we have decided to
cancel the Get Your Motor Running event. We are planning to reschedule
sometime next month. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement in the
      coming weeks!

      Matt, John, Audwin, and Brian

Spring is finally here, so let’s get the ball rolling! On Saturday, March 12th, we will host our annual “Get Your Motor Running” maintenance event to help get your Viper ready to slither through the season!

We will have 2 lifts available to perform oil, differential, clutch, transmission, and brake fluid changes (time permitting). If you’re not a maintenance guru and never have performed your own service, that’s okay! We have plenty experience on hand to help, and you can learn a lot about your Viper. If you don’t have maintenance needs, that’s also okay…..just come and hang out!

This year will be a little different that past years. Due to personnel issues, we will not have a dealer sponsor present at the event. However, we will be obtaining OEM fluids directly from our dealer sponsor from past years; Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Garner. We were informed there may be shortages on some OEM filters and fluids. Therefore, please be sure to RSVP ASAP since OEM supplies may be limited and in case we need to limit the number of cars due to work load. Regardless, all RSVP’s must be received no later than Monday, February 28th.

If you require an oil change, please bring is your choice of motor oil. I believe most are running the Mobil 1 0W-40 formula these days. Below are the estimated oil fill capacities for the various generations (rounded up to the nearest quart):

      1992-2002 – 9 quart
      2003-2017 – 11 quart
Of course it never hurts to buy an extra quart!

The event will be hosted in Wake Forest, NC from 8:00am – 4:00pm. FREE lunch will be provided to members and sponsored by Hagerty Insurance.

      RSVP DETAILS

If you plan to attend this event, please RSVP ASAP to the email you received:

      1) The YEAR of your Viper.
      2) Indicate which fluids you would like to have replaced (O – Oil, D – Differential, C – Clutch, T – Transmission, B – Brake (time permitting)). Or, simply reply back with “ALL” if you wish to have all fluids replaced.
      3) Finally, please let us know if you be purchasing OEM fluids from Capital CJDR so we can ensure we have adequate inventory. A simple “YES” if you plan to purchase on-site or “NO” if you plan to purchase them elsewhere will do. Again, motor oil will not be provided, so please bring your own, but everything else can be purchased from the Capital CJDR at competitive prices.

This is a members only event to have service done. If you didn’t receive the email contact one of us. For those coming from afar, we have some nice hotels in the area that we can provide you. Look forward to seeing everyone!

Ps. Again reply to the email your received if you didn’t receive the email message me right away.
