      Yeah, mine used to do that also. Had a member locally hit it with some heavy spray on lubricant repeatedly while working the door open/closed. Now it’s quiet as a mouse. You will need to put a rag under the door on the sill because we sprayed a bunch of it all in there to get it quiet.

      Oh, is it inside in the hinge itself?

      It’s the metal tab that catches the hinge when the door is open more than 50%. When we did mine, we hit that part heavily, worked it open and closed and also hit the pins and hinge mechanism as well.

      When I push my driver’s side door all the way open, that piece of metal that rubs on another piece of metal to hold the door open squeaks loudly. I guess I wore through whatever grease (or paint) that was on there. I can’t seem to find the piece though to grease it. Am I missing something? Is it easy to get to?
