      No idea what it’s there for, but I’ve noticed the exact same thing on my ’97 GTS.

      It looks like you have the cowl support off…it goes here…

      I’ve remove the windshield cowl and found a ground strap that is not attached to anything on one end. It appears to have came from the factory that way because the eyelet has no install marks on it. The other end is secured under one of the bolts that holds the drivers side wiper motor in place. It looks like it could attach to the back of the intake where a stud sticks out that has a sparkplug wire loom attached. Any ideas?
