I installed the 708 in my Gen.1. I also did head work. I picked up 65 hp. I doubt that you would get 50 hp with cam and rockers. I would say more like 25-30. JMO

I have an 01 rt/10 Roe doesn’t make the 710 for that year only the 708. I’ve had good luck over the years with comp cams can anybody recommend a good streetable from them or someone else. I’m working in tx but live in west palm fl and plan on driving the 1200 miles once in awhile and need a good setup that can handle 80 mph for 9 or 10 hrs without any worries. I keep seeing in forums to call Greg Good but have never seen a phone # is it worth calling him since evidently the 708 is not what I’m looking for?
Thanks

I have talked to Doug before I think? Horsepower sales in Lauderdale put a Pro Charger on an 04 Z06 I had a few years ago. I’ll call him. Think after all I’ve read on the forums and listening to all the 708 vipers on YouTube I’m going with the 708 and long tube Bellanger headers.no need for rockers, pushrods and you use your stock ECM It should fit just right with the Paxton later.

I chose the 708 cam for my 95 because I already had a brand new one on the shelf. Otherwise I would have taken Greg Good’s recommendation for a cam. I could have gotten a little more power with another cam but I was pleased with the results that I got with the 708. Best dyno was 498 rwhp and 541 rwt. That was with head work too. Everyone who hears my car thinks it sounds good.

in their 01 or 02 Viper with or without the rockers?? http://www.roeracing.com/productcart/pc/-708-Original-Equipment-96-99-Viper-Camshaft-for-all-92-02-Vipers-154p461.htm
Sound like a pretty good deal with the big lope cam and rockers for around $1000.00 for 50 hp and the sound Im looking for ( I’m sure my 01 has the Creampuff Cam they are talking about.)…………….Thanks
