Got it tuned how? With the Mopar PCM, or did they do an HPTuners tune with the stock PCM? If it is the Mopar PCM, there is no tuning it back to normal…what you see is what you get.
120 miles per tank is excessive…I’d make sure the primary O2 sensors in the exhaust manifolds are working properly. They are in charge of the closed loop fueling, and shouldn’t be sensitive to whether or not the car has cats due to their location.

Hi I am the tech for Raceway Chrysler in Toronto. With how rich you car is running it is likely not a tune.
The year of your vehicle would be helpful.
You have a PM with my contact information.

That is less than half the mileage I can get. Um, something is way off!
My first thought would be the upstream O2 sensor. After that, perhaps a jacked up throttlbeody?
Can you call the previous owner and ask where he got it “tuned”? Cause holy wowzers that’s rich. If nothin else, just replace the entire PCM. Call Jon B at partsrack and start from scratch with a new computer. That will at least give you a baseline to start with. And reach out to your local club. They should have some resources.

its 2003 i called two dodge dealers both said they cant help meAnd I wouldn’t expect them to being that it’s 13 years old at this point, but all is not lost.
Jon B (Viper Parts Rack) would be a good place to start if you needed a new PCM. I’d also contact Dan Lesser at Viper Specialty Performance and Dan Cragin at Specialty Performance Team…both should be able to get this sorted out without too much grief.

We have them in stock, as always.
Again for anyone reading, VSP stocks *ALL* PCM’s from 1992-2006, including all variations of the Ram SRT-10, and we can supply them pre-flashed with VIN and Mileage so no dealer is needed, as well as pre-flashed with performance tune files when applicable.

Dan is relatively close, as just over the Lake from you and he is quite knowledgeable. If you have an Gen III and running in to tune issues, he likely can help you – he has been working on Snakes for a long time and he is still a very young man!!!

I have been at this for FOURTEEN YEARS now. It almost seems surreal, just yesterday I had my Final Edition ’02 and was just getting into the Viper Performance game.
