Perhaps ask in the tech section. My thought with fuses would be it would work or wouldn’t. Sorta working sounds like a problem inside the switch itself. In my general experience.

      Good luck.

FWIW, my wipers were totally dried up and split and I found a good coat of rain X and I didn’t even need em. Yes I replaced the wipers but until I did, rain X and the angle of our winshield makes for a pretty good combo in a pinch.

I agree, sounds like the switch may have gone bad. I’ve replaced them on other vehicles and it was fairly easy.

      These cars have windshield wipers?

Happened z few years ago in my Gen II GTS.

Since switch is rarely used, worked it on-off-on-off-on-off several times.

Must have cleaned of the contacts …

Has been good for the last 3 years …

Another vote for a good coat of RainX. Do two applications back to back and you will never need to turn the wipers on again.

As the problem, sounds like the contacts are bad in the switching mechanism itself. I would exercise it liberally and see if you can clean those off.

My wipers on my 09 quit working. I can move the lever down and it will wipe one time with the mist function.
I can also use the washer function and they spray and wipe twice. But you put the switch on the delay setting, low, mid or high I get nothing.
Anybody have any idea what the problem is? Is there a relay or fuse that affects this.
      Thanks in advance.
      John.
