i just bled mine recently the slave cylinder is internal to the transmission. shouldn’t be too hard to do once you have the tranny out.

i’ve thought about clutches too. i would probably go back with a stock flywheel and southbend stage 1 clutch and call it a day. don’t think it is worth the extra $300 to go with aftermarket lighten flywheel.

I got on the Summit website and ordered a Centerforce dual friction clutch and a new slave cylinder and pilot bearing. Ive used Centerforce stuff before and feel pretty confident with their ability. I will get a skip shift eliminator also, my son has one on his car and said it makes a difference. I have a lift and trans jack so it shouldnt be much of a problem. Anything else I should be looking for while I’m under there? 50,000 miles with questionable maintenance. My son got it up to 150 on the way home before it broke so I think it will be alright.

I just sold my Gen2 and picked up a cheap Gen 3 to play with, While making the 300 mile trip home the clutch slave apparently popped on it leaving us to get towed the last 190miles. I havnt even jacked it up yet but I was wondering how does it come out and is there anything special I need to know before diving in? I plan on changing the clutch while its apart so ant suggestions on cluches and pressure plates? any one better than the rest? Just a driver/play toy, no racing or autocross or anything. Just an old guy cruising and spinning an occasional tire. When I messed with older muscle cars I liked the Centerforce setups and I know they make a dual disc. Any opinions would be great.
