It’s not overly easy. Yes, the half shalfs will likely be stuck.

Probably 1/2 day (4hrs) for someone who knows what they’re doing and has a lift. It will probably take you 2-3 times assuming your mechanically inclined and proficient.

I ended up letting someone else handle this for me. Too much of a PIA for me to justify.

It is not difficult, did mine in the winter on axle stands and lowered/raised with a floor jack. Getting the axles to release can be a nightmare or they can just pop out. Most of us don’t have the proper puller so we make do. Mostly a 2×4 and a sledge and a lot of swearing. It took me 2 to 3 hours just to get the axles off, but the rest was easy. Mine had 75,000miles and was seized in. Suggest a liberal dose of anti-seize when you put back together.

I am looking at picking up a Gen IV rear end for the Viper. My Gen III currently has 5500 miles on it, how hard will it be to remove the rear end, is there a how to somewhere? I heard the half shafts tend to get stuck but I am hoping due to the low mileage that won’t be too much of an issue with mine but would like some sort of general steps on how to remove the differential. Thanks
