How to Change your User Name/Forum Name

To start login, on the far right your have a “Portal” tab, select it (if your user profile did not come up when you logged in)

Next review your  Profile Detail

On the right in blue is “Edit Profile”, select it

The top item is “User Name”, now right below that is “Profile Display Name” change it to the name you want to see in the forum

Now go to the very bottom and select “Update Profile”

… or

Just above “Update Profile” at the very bottom of the page is where you can now load your “Avatar”

Now go to the very bottom and select “Update Profile”

And you are done… Please note that you  now login with your new user name you selected

Does not work for me. The User Name selection is not selectable.  First and Last names are selectable and presumably could be changed. All 3 have asterisks which have no explanation either.  Maybe they only enable this feature for you.

I now see that mine has the “*” as well and I cannot change it.

I changed mine last week when we were testing.

I will need look into this some more and get back with everyone.

All,  It’s not *Username.  You cannot change that.  However…you can change your “Profile Display Name”.  Refresh your Profile page, and you should se “Profile Display Name” under Username.  Save and happy posting.  You can also add an Avatar if you choose to.

Sting not sure when but that line for Profile Display Name was recently added as was the avatar upload button.
