Pumps not rated by HP….. did you change injectors?

I did the Gen 3 Arrow racing engine kit. So I have Gen 4 injectors.

Stock pump and injectors on my heads/cam Gen III 643whp, SAE (667 whp uncorrected). Running at 12.7:1 AFR, and includes WOT from 1st-5th gear at the Texas Mile.

You will fine with 620whp on an all-motor setup. Its all whole different question if power adders are involved.

You have to keep in mind these engines run very rich from the factory. That gives you a bit of leeway with breather mods since you’ll be running a lot leaner when tuned.

What duty cycle were your injectors running at when tuned @ 12.7:1? Did you log your AFR during the texas mile?

I didn’t log data during the Texas Mile, but did have one my GoPro’s catch my Innnovate pod during several of my 190mph+ runs. It was pretty flat at 12.7-8 through most of the run/rpm, and progressively getting richer (12.5:1) as I approached redline.

That’s perfect. I’d be just a little worried of running the injectors above 90% duty cycle that’s all.

My heads/cam car is going on 3 yrs with that setup and without a single issue. My use includes everything from coffee/cars, HPD events, 1/4- 1/2- and standing mile and many exciting trips to the local grocery store. You will be fine.

I’m just wrapping up the mods on my Gen 3. I’ll be right around 600-625HP at the wheels. I’m not sure if I need to upgrade pumps or will my Stock Gen 3 feed my monster just fine?
