How about a broken headlight and gut it, then make your own?

      Carl,

I pulled molds off of my Gen V ACR without damaging them. Then I built carbon fiber blanks for Cable’s Gen V. Saved a lot of weight! With good mold release wax and PCA water-based parting agent you can avoid damaging the original parts. It’s just a little time consuming.

^ That’s badass! Curious how much weight is there to lose? 5-8lbs?

Cable said 11.5 lbs, and I think that was per side.

Tom Francis should be able to help you. Comp coupe headlights are what you are looking for. They are basically blank headlights sealed without bulbs out mounts for bulbs. Still uses the clear lens.

3D print some? I think my setup could print one. I would need a model to scan in.

Pappy, you have way more skill and patience than I do. If I can’t find them before inde, maybe we can talk about pulling them out while I”m there and I’ll leave them with you. We can discuss details later

I’ve looked around, found gen 2 fake head lights.

Anyone make fake Gen 4. I wish to pull the actual headlight out and replace with a fake one. Need the weight gone off the nose.
