Ok I got it. I guess one of them bumped the dimmer, which I forgot there even was one. How silly that that would leave them on permanently even with the doors locked.

Nice thing about this being a Dodge was that this turned up in search results for Caravans and Durangos lol.

Friends don’t let friends drive their Viper.

Anybody awake? My interior lights won’t turn off while I’m driving or even when it’s parked and locked.

Doors, hood, trunk are all closed. All the gauges look normal. Headlights are turned off, key is out of ignition, but they remain on.

Also when I do open the driver’s door, it starts dinging at me as if I left the key in but I didn’t.

Afraid my battery will drain overnight if I can’t figure this out soon.

Edit: the only thing that changed was I let a couple of friends drive it around a parking lot right when it started happening. They adjusted the seat but I don’t think anything else was changed.

I should also note that the interior lights remain on no matter what position the switches are in (I forgot what is “off” and “on” but it doesn’t make a difference)
