Scenario: driving on the highway in any gear for an extended period of time at the same RPM the car will cut out periodically. I am assuming its spark since it will sometimes cause a little back fire. It seems to be random but I have narrowed it down. I drove it yesterday and did not turn on the AC and it did not occur. I originally thought it was the battery, put a new one in Saturday and it was running fine until I turned on the AC and shortly afterwards it started acting up. The battery fixed my idle drifting issue that the AC would often fix. Previously I would get a low idle and when the ac was on it would raise the idle and keep it in one sport instead of drifting 500 rpm up and down.
I have seen the AC relay item in the past when pulling codes. Does anyone know if the AC relay is a 20A or 30A? Anyone have the same issue?
