I don’t remember where exactly on the forum but I read something about the car going into limp mode.
Could someone explain what are/is the symptoms of when the car gets into the limp mode.
The reason I ask is that my ’97 did something strange twice this summer.
After starting the car, it stays into idle. No matter how much throttle I put, RPMs are staying in idle mode.
Both time, it happened when the car was in normal operating temperature (after a long drive) and engine stopped for 10-15 minutes. Both time the situation were resolved by turning the car off and restarting it…then everything is back to normal…was the car in limp mode??
Also, no code were recorded in the OBD and any light on the message center.
