I have a 2015 black edition and had a 2013 premium. The only differences in the track edition is the cloth seats, suspension, brake ducts in the front spoiler and no rear seats. There isn’t too much of a difference but if you are tracking the car it may be worth it since the suspension in 2015 premium and black edition was changed and is softer than previous years.

Thanks for the reply. Is the softer suspension a parts change or a software/programming change?. If that’s the only difference between the two, I’ll probably go with a Black Edition then as I really like the seats with the red accents. I’m looking at putting an “alpha 6” style power upgrade which is 600 awhp on whichever car i buy and maybe some Nismo track stuff later.

      I appreciate your time, thanks

I’m not sure if it’s a parts change or a programming change from ’14’s to ’15’s but there was a lot of literature before the ’15’s were released that the suspension was softer in the premium only and there was speculation that the black edition didn’t get the softer suspension since it wasn’t mentioned in the literature. It was later confirmed that the black edition also got the softer suspension. I know between my ’13 and ’15 the differences were noticeable and there is more sound deadening in the ’15 which is also noticeable.

As for the track edition I believe the suspension has different parts with Bilstien shocks and different springs.

Thanks for the info. I had a chance to drive both this last weekend, and looks like I’m going to get a 2015 Black Edition. It seems to have a little less road noise, and I couldn’t tell any difference in accel or handling between it and the track edition. Plus I just like the seats better.

I’m looking at getting a GTR, either the Track Edition, or a Black Edition. 2014/15
Does anyone here have either?. I’d like to know the difference between the two from an owners standpoint. I’m leaning towards the Black Edition, but not locked on yet.
I will track the car, so that’s why I’m wondering about the potential “benefits” of a Track Edition if any.

      Thanks
