Last night we got to test our first set of manifold mittens on a gen 3 car. I know it’s a gen 3 car but I am making one large post for all sections. These mittens come standard from now on with all of our turbo kits and soon to have an American Racing Header version. We are very pleased with the results as we got the manifolds to 980 degrees and almost transparent, the outside of the mitten 223 degrees. For a racing application and street car these mittens will help keep engine bay temps way down, which helps with intake air temps, protects wiring and plastic parts, and all around helps everything live in the most brutal conditions.
