So I drove to this show and was blown away by the diversity and the quality of some of the vehicles in attendance. Pennsylvania never ceases to amaze me with its car culture. It takes little shows like this to bring some amazing things out of people’s garages.

I only took a few photos today, but there were definitely a couple hundred vehicles here. Met some really nice people and had some good conversations. Traded some seat time in my TA for some seat time in a new Stingray (parked, of course), and answered all kinds of questions about my car. It never ceases to amaze me how many people didn’t know what it was, or didn’t know the Viper was still being made.

Got a couple other flyers for shows too. There’s a Catty Fire Police 5th Annual Car and Motorcycle show on September 27th in Catasauqua, PA, and the 2nd Annual Michael Aquilina Memorial Car Show in Cherryville, PA on April 25th, 2015, if anyone is interested.

But first, let me take a selfie…

There were a couple cars here that “didn’t belong”, so-to-speak, but sometimes you have to take a good look before discounting them…

Yes, this is a twin-engined Chevrolet Cavalier. And there’s a sliding-glass window to separate the engine from the passenger compartment. The fact that it drove there means this probably wasn’t some weekend project…

And here’s a Challenger with a blender or something on the top. Probably makes it hard to see out the window.

And a super sweet ’97 Celica convertible. This car was for sale, too. This is a “classic” for me. I can’t tell all the 60s and 70s cars apart, but this is a classic for the younger generation.

This ZR1 was eyeballing me from across the field, but he or she left, probably in fear, before I did. LOL

There were an awful lot of stuffed cats lying on cars. This one had authoritah.

I should have taken better notes, but this was a factory racing package. I can’t imagine what this would have looked like on the street when it was new. Too cool.

And yeah, here’s a Mercedes C63 AMG with a Renntech Supercharger. Yeah, I bet this is slow.

So I’ve never seen a TVR in person in my life, and one shows up to some podunk car show in Pennsylvania. This was amazing. I think it’s a Tuscan from 1969 and 1971. Far out, brah.

So here’s a really nice Chevy Biscayne from the sixties, maybe. One of the most interesting paint jobs I’ve ever seen.

You couldn’t see it from a distance, but the whole car was like this. Looks like a base coat of black, then a hand-brushed coat of red, and then a sparkle clearcoat overtop. It reeeeeeally made me want to touch it. Fantastic!

Here’s Mike, checking out his new ride. We met Don, the owner of this C7, and talked to him for quite a while. He was really impressed by the G5 Viper, but ultimately, couldn’t justify the cost.

And finally, my TA. Took a picture with a “warm” filter on it, but eh. It’s just so tough to get the the TA Orange to “pop” on camera. With a cell phone camera anyway.

Good times today. Got a mild sunburn too, but it was offset by the free hot dog. Definitely a much better way to spend a Sunday than cleaning out my Netflix queue.
