Nice, congrats! My other car is a P car too.

Nice pick-up. I was looking at 2000’s examples of 911s, Boxsters, and Caymans about a year and a half ago. Got real close to buying a Carrera, and then later a Cayman; both sellers stopped responding when I asked to do a PPI, so I took it as a sign.

I’d still like to get into one someday.

They look good. Even though it’s aged it’s aged very well. Where the hell are the cup holders? Lol

When I bought my Viper in 2020 I was debating on a 2008 911 Turbo. Had I think 13k miles for the same price as my Viper and about the same color. Tough choice.

Unfortunately, just like my Viper, no cup holders. As much as I enjoy the Viper, I am a big fan of Porsche’s as well. IMO a completely different experience. I enjoy the rawness and un-tamed feeling of the Viper whereas both my 911 and my old boxster are super easy to drive like a hero & that’s why I enjoy them. The Viper is much more unique and the 911 is much more useable. Best of both worlds with the two!

I got a nice drive in with the 911 yesterday. Compared to my 986, the power is much more prevalent and it is a touch bigger. Handling is great but I think the 986 is just a touch better. Even though I am big into convertibles, I enjoy having a sports coupe for a change. I wish it were a little more optioned out but it’s still much more equipped than my RT/10! Great value for the $$$ as well.

      Hey all,

I impulsively picked up another car, a 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera! It is a low option car, but it is equipped with a six speed manual and while it needs a little bit of work, the price was right and I am very excited to have another Porsche. I had a 2004 Boxster in the past (5-speed low mileage example) and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I think the Boxster handled a touch better, but the 911 has way more power and looks clean as a coupe.
