Opinions are welcome Mike, but I’m already mounted/installed. I have more to add, just looking for some expertise.

I didn’t do 18/18, but I did go to a 19/19. Rear tire diameter stayed similar to stock, front changed from 25.0 to 26.0. About 3-5 miles in my traction control/stability control/whatever control went a bit bezerk for about 5 seconds and I never had an issue after that. I suspect you will be fine, but I’m interested to know how this will exactly turn out for you!

Thanks for the input! I experienced the same, took the car out last night. The traction control light came on almost immediately, went off and came on 2 more times while going down the street.

I decided to turn around on a side street to head back home. The light stayed off all the way until I got back to my driveway.

Decided to keep driving and the light never came on. Drove it about 40 minutes. Highway, country roads and beat on the car. 130 mph on the highway. No issues after the initial 3 traction control lights came on.

I’m thinking the computer learned the new speed sensor / wheel size and calibrated to it.

Street driving isn’t the same as on the track, so didn’t want an issue to arise when going ten tenths on the track.

Thanks for the input, I feel more confident to just send it!

I run Hoosiers 315/345 on 18’s. No issues, but try in sport mode if the light comes on again.

What are the wheel specs? Offsets? Etc.

DADS ACR has 18/18 and tracks. Hasn’t had any issues that I’m aware of.

Hi guys. To those on here that had not yet had issues running similar diameter tires front and rear, has your experience changed? Still no issues on street or track?

Been running 18/18 with 295/30/18 and 335/30/18 for a little while now with zero issues. Will be mounting up 19/19 shortly.

      Hello all,

Getting ready for track season and purchased some Forgestars wheels for my 2017 GTC. I’m running 315/30 x 18 up front and 335/30 x 18 in the rear (Toyo R888R).

Question is, will the ABS / traction control system have issues since my tire height is the same front and rear.

I’m looking for experience from those that have gone down this path.

      Thanks in advance!

      -Marko
